Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant - Kewalo Basin

This seafood restaurant is located in the Ewa (west) corner of the commercial harbor of Kewalo Basin at the intersection of Ward Ave. with the coastal Ala Moana Blvd. Something very interesting becomes apparent immediately-- if you haven't figured it out, read the notes at right.

Also this location is immediately adjacent to the regular mooring for the freighter Kahana.

Directions:
From Waikiki, take Ala Moana Blvd. toward the Airport. After passing the Ala Moana Shopping Center, go two more blocks then enter Kewalo Basin Harbor, which will be apparent by the boats.
From downtown, take Ala Moana Blvd. toward Waikiki. The restaurant is visible on your right immediately after the Ward Ave. intersection after several car dealerships. Enter through the obvious driveway (Google maps).


Notes: Fisherman's Wharf is a seafood restaurant with a view of Kewalo Basin, a harbor for commercial vessels.

The scenes in Lost filmed here are flipped horizontally so that they are mirror images. This was done so that the driver's side of the automobiles is on the right side, as in Australia, rather than the left as in the U.S. Note that the closeup shots inside the vehicle are also reversed. You can compare Ana-Lucia's face-- at left she is in the car with Dr. Shephard, and her face is reversed from the image at right, where she is a police officer, from the same episode. Note the mole on her cheek, and the natural tilt of her facial expression.
