Nu'uanu trail Coming from town, this unnamed trail is on the left side of Nu'uanu Pali Drive just past the Judd Trail trailhead. The filming location is immediately near the road. Episode 1x01 Pilot Lost Virtual Tour Charlie and Kate return from their harrowing encounter with the monster and pilot at the nose section of the plane. Thank you to Kos Hummer Tours for finding this filming location. Notes Address: Phone: Hours: Directions: From Honolulu/Waikiki, enter H1 west, then take the Pali Highway exit. Turn right onto Nuuanu Pali Dr. (last major stoplight). There is an other small fork (Old Pali Rd.), take the right side to stay on Nuuanu Pali Road.
