Hurley's vehicle breaks down. Note that the episode correctly shows that in Australia, the driver's side of automobiles is to the right side of the vehicle. |

A horizontally flipped view of the screencap shows the scene as it would have looked during filming. |

The view from Iwilei Rd. looking toward the T- intersection with King St. Aala Park is to the rear. This park has been part of Honolulu's urban renewal project of the Chinatown area, and was formerly known for squatters and drug dealing. |

Hurley starts out on foot near a crosswalk, and watches a plane fly overhead. |

A horizontally reversed view. |

In addition to the crosswalk, note the telephone pole and its diagonal support line. |

Looking exactly the opposite way down Iwilei Rd. from the same location, we see the driveway to the Iwilei Lot to the immediate right, and the Dole Cannery Offices in yellow at the far end of the road. Obscured behind the behind at left is the Dole Cannery parking structure; the latter two are Lost filming locations, and the offices were also the former home of the Lost production offices of Grass Skirt Productions (now located at Hawaii Film Studio) |

Address: Iwilei Rd., just before the northernmost end where it intersects with King St. at Aala Park.
Aala Park is located between King and Beretania St. where they meet at:
280 N. King St.
Honolulu, HI
Notes:
A'ala park is also known for a relatively new skateboard park with lights until 9pm.
Directions: From Waikiki, take Ala Moana Blvd. ewa-bound (west) toward the airport. As you move through downtown past Aloha Tower, move to the far right lane as the name of the road changes to Nimitz Hwy. After the end of downtown (at River St.), Nimitz continues by curving off to the left, but before the curve, the far right lane goes straight to the right-- go that way in the right lane. The next intersection is Iwilei Rd. at the crosswalk visible in the photos-- look right to see the intersection and A'ala Park. If you wish to go to Dole Cannery, turn left.
