Michael Emerson is the first Lost star to arrive on the red carpet. Evangeline Lilly with handlers who are rushing her down the red carpet to the press area Adewale is relishing his time with the fans; last year at this event he was an unknown to the Lost fans, but this year he was a clear fan favorite.

Elizabeth Mitchell arrives at the tent largely unrecognized by the fans Kiele Sanchez also was largely unrecognized by the fans. That will change soon! In contrast, new cast member Rodrigo Santoro seemed to be recognized. Here he is being rushed by his handlers to the press area.
Woops. The camera was zoomed in while she was signing an autograph. Ah, that's better. Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) was very beautiful and gracious. Here she signs a fan's Lost magazine.
Matthew Fox arrives at the tent A view of the rear of the screen, and Waikiki beyond. The crowd stretches into the thousands. This view is from the sandy beach, and the water is about 25 feet immediately to the left.
Producer and director Jack Bender was very nice and came over to chat.

Terry O'Quinn won the award for the most fan-friendly cast member. He searched out every nook and corner of the area. At left and center he is meeting fans hidden behind the tent. 10 minutes would pass, and he would have only moved a few feet, still signing autographs and shaking hands.
Adewale also spent a great deal of time meeting with the fans.
Yoon-jin Kim was also great with the fans, and was always smiling. We watched from closeup, but behind the screen, since that is where we ended up after visiting the red carpet area.

As the episode begins, the cast begins to trickle back from the stage. Later in the episode, we could see Josh Holloway under the tent.
The show is about to begin. It opened with Brian McFadden's Lost video "Demons".
