Tamarind Park

Part of the Bishop Square complex, this small park is located in the business district of downtown Honolulu, and is an ideal lunch destination for local officeworkers. Tamarind Park sports various trees including kukui, plumeria, monkeypod, and of course tamarind.

Tamarind Park is known for free concerts on Fridays at 12 noon. Call the mayor's hotline for details: (808) 523-4674.

This park is also directly adjacent to two other Lost filming locations, Pauahi Tower, and the corner intersection of Bishop and Hotel streets.

Directions: If street parking is not available, municipal lots marked "Chinatown parking" are the least expensive; one of the closest is on Bethel St.'s lefthand side just north (Mauka) of the intersection with King St.
