Queen Emma Ballet

The downtown branch of this Honolulu ballet school, with its arched architecture, provided a location for Lost. It is located on the same grounds of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, just behind St. Andrews Priory.

Queen Emma Ballet is located on Queen Emma St. next to St. Andrews Priory.

Notes:
Founded by Eve Walstrum and Suzanne Rowland in 1989, The Queen Emma Ballet has two locations, one in Kahala, and the other in downtown.

The Queen Emma Ballet owners report that the beams on the ceiling were originally brown, but were painted white by the Lost production crew, making the studio look brighter and more spacious. They also report that an entire conversational scene with the French father was filmed, but was cut in the final version.
