Kahuku Hospital is located on the mauka side of Kamehemeha Hwy (83) between Brigham Young University Hawai'i and the Turtle Bay Hilton Resort.

From Waikiki, this location may either be approached
1) from the Windward side (H1 West to Likelike Hwy North, which turns into Kamehameha Hwy, look on your left after passing BYU Hawai'i), or
2) from the North Shore (H1 West to H2 North, turns into 99, turn right on Kamehameha Hwy 83. Stay on 83, do not go into Hale'iwa, look on your right after passing Turtle Bay Hilton)

Notes:
Curiously, the hospital in the Lost storyline is named St. Francis Hospital, whereas the real St. Francis Hospital of Honolulu has also been a filming locaiton.

The subsequent chase scene and escape were not filmed in Kahuku Hospital's parking building, but in the Pearlridge Shopping Center's parking structure.

Like many rural hopsitals, Kahuku Hospital has long suffered from frequent funding shortages due to the small size of the surrounding population.
