| Iwilei Lot (Storage)
This vacant lot near Dole Cannery on Iwilei Rd. between Kuwili St. and King St. provides a staging ground for base camps, and a storage location for Lost production. There is also a rear entrance on Ka'aahi St., leading to Dillingham Blvd. |
Notes Do not disturb, Do not trespass! The Iwilei lot was used both for storage of props and trailers, as well as a staging area "base camp" for the crew parking and production trailers for any nearby location shoots. In addition to Anthony Cooper's guard hut, you may have seen cars depicting LAPD police squad vehicles that are towed in. Iwilei Rd. entrance & guard shack Ka'aahi St. entrance View Larger Map |

The guard shack is stored next to the real life guard-tent of the Iwilei Lot at the left of the Iwilei St. entrance. The home itself is in on Nu'uanu Pali Drive. |

The lot is on the Ewa (west) side of Iwilei Rd., between Kuwili St. and King St. This photo is facing mauka (mountainside) toward King St. In this view, the lot is on the left between the crosswalk in the right foreground, and the crosswalk at the far background at center. The photo at right is taken from approximately the location of the white car in the foreground. |
The same view of Iwilei Rd. looking towards King St. The entrance of the lot is marked by the arrow. Mere yards beyond this entranceway is the Iwilei curbside where Hurley's car broke down in Episode 1x24, Exodus: Part 2. If you follow Iwilei Rd. to the end of the T-intersection with King St. and turn right, you'd almost immediately pass Soul Lenz Gallery, and find yourself in the Chinatown district of downtown Honolulu. Also note Punchbowl Crater in the background. |

Please respect the Lost production crew. Do not trespass! |
If you turn around and go the other way on Iwilei Rd. toward the ocean, you would soon be at the Dole Cannery Office Building (visible in the photo backround) and the Dole parking structure (across the street and obscured to the left). |

At Ka'aahi St. is the other entrance. |
