| He'eia Kea Valley Park
This 220 acre area near Kaneohe on the windward side of O'ahu was acquired by the City and County of Honolulu as a nature preserve. Although it is currently closed to the public, there are future plans to open the valley for recreational use. |
On one filming day, the set entrance appeared to be at the gate to the He'eia storage lot (the same on with the Flight 815 Nose cone storage). |
Notes He'eia Kea has been used for several scenes in the feature film Jurassic Park. In Lost, the area has been used for many many scenes over the years. Highlights include: Temple Outer Wall, The Black Rock, The Hatch, The Swan Construction site and many jungle walking scenes. The entrance of the park is also where The Cockpit of the plane was stored. However, after production of LOST ended, the plane was chopped up and recycled. Also some parts were sold at the Official LOST Auction. Links: View Larger Map |
| Below are Highlights of what was shot here, there were many more minor scenes shot here. |
