Hakipu'u Valley

This valley is part of Kualoa Ranch property, and coming from the south, is the valley immediately before the main Ka'a'awa Valley.

Episode 3x19 The Brig

Note some of the extra shrubbery added by the foliage department of the Lost production crew. The actual hill is very close to the area filmed for the security perimeter that Kate, Sayid, and Locke climbed over in Episode 3x12, Par Avion.

Episode 3x12 Par Avion

This part of the security fence is almost the same location as the first image above for episode 3x19, The Brig, by the campsite of the Others.

The valley is accessed from an ATV trail beginning the next valley over (a.k.a. the Kualoa Ranch visitor center), or from a private access gate just after the Coral Kingdom center; the gate is within 10 feet of the blue sign visible at the far right of this photograph.

REMINDER: No Trespassing, this valley is private property. To see the valley, arrange for a private tour such as with Kos Hummer Tours or with a Kualoa Ranch ATV tour.

Episode 4x02 Confirmed Dead

This view looks out of the short valley toward the ocean. The helicopter landing site was along the small dirt road snaking through the valley.

This view of the peak at the rear of the valley is similar to the view from 3x12 Par Avion (above) in the scene with the sonic security fence. This same peak is also visible (at a different angle) at the rear of Ka'a'awa Valley, the next valley over.

The cow is one of the animals from Kualoa Ranch.

Note this line of hills are the same that are visible from Mo'ili ponds and Waikane Pier.
