Episode 2x09 What Kate Did Lost Virtual Tour

The home of Kate's biological father, Wayne.

The filming location for Wayne's house is the Ranch manager's residence. Of course it wasn't really destroyed. A model was destroyed for the explosion scene, and high intensity lights were turned on inside the real residence to provide the segue for the FX.

Kate's horse-- a similar horse was also seen in her flashback with the car accident with the Marshal.
The real horse is stabled at Dillingham Ranch and is named "Pearl". Note that Pearl is not available for public riding.

In this view, the hand of the horse trainer is visible at the far right edge.
