Can't tell you folks how much your work means to us. Our family is hooked on Lost. We started looking for Lost sites during our 2006 Hawaii vacation, and then we found your site. From the information on your site, I've listed 105 Lost shooting locations on an Oahu map, and we've spent the last 2 weeks hunting. Have found every location we've attempted so far. Even met Desmond and Sawyer along the way (my wife and daughter went nuts). Have seen amazing props - will have to send you photos.
We have one more week here to look for stuff. Quick question - is the hike to Hydra station walking only? Or can you get their by car? Thanks again for your website... you've made our vacation!!! Lost Lee
Very cool find in the DHARMA station.
I combined information from your site along with advice from Oahu residents to find some Lost filming sites. It was actually one of the highlights of my trip. I wrote an article on my blog and linked to LVT. In case you are interested in reading it, here it is: http://www.govisithawaii.com/2007/07/10/finding-lost-sites-on-oahu/
Do you have any more info about where they are currently filming? I live in Honolulu and would love to see some of the sets live, even from a distance. I know they're still at Police Beach. Anywhere else? Great site!
I used to work at the Omega Station back in 1986/87...the place looks a bit run down!! I had a great time in Hawaii, they used to film old Magnum PI episodes on base when I was stationed there....I spent many days cutting grass, painting the walls, and working on that old generator which was used to supply power if commercial power failed......
