We are slowly working through posting our photos from our Dec 4 locations hunting expedition. Today we have posted one new location,
Waiahole Beach Park, which we've ID'd as a jungle location in
Episode 3x05 The Cost of Living. While you're there, you also have a great view of
Waikane Pier, which doubled as the DHARMA Initiative's Pala Ferry pier.
We've also just totally overhauled the Moli'i Fishpond page, now known as the
Moli'i Gardens page. We have now positively identified the dock used for Jin's flashback in
Episode 1x17 ...In Translation. We had missed the exact dock before because of decorative handrails applied to the dock for the filming of
You, Me, and Dupree.
However we've also found two more locations in the Kualoa Ranch-owned Moli'i Gardens. Eko's Nigerian bar from
Episode 2x10 The 23rd Psalm. Hardly anyone has noticed, but if you look at the episode closely, the bar is named
Cantina Brukutu, and that sign still exists on the structure. Also, the red ginger garden in
Episode 3x05 The Cost of Living, where Eko meets his brother Yemi in his final vision, is also located within the extensive gardens of this property. Check it out!
The folks working over at the Macadamia Farm Outlet are amazingly nice, and they have a great tour package that is inexpensive and full of activities. You'll get to see the fishpond, flower gardens, and other goodies. Any Lost fan shouldn't hesitate to go visit!
We've added some minor updates by adding photos from the day of Lost's filming for the locations:
St. Clement's Church and the
Judd Trail in Nu'uanu.
Stay tuned because we have our huge Ka'a'awa Valley "Monster Update" coming, as well as Quicktime Virtual Reality panoramas for most of these locations this month!
