The lawn, exterior, and underground parking lot have been filmed in Lost.

Notes

Hawai'i was admitted to Statehood on August 21, 1959. The State Capitol buidling was opened on March 15, 1969. The cone-shaped Senate and House chambers symbolize the volcanoes of Hawai'i. The columns symbolize palm trees, and the large pool echoes the fact that Hawai'i is the only island state of the US.
The governor of Hawai'i is Linda Lingle (R), and the state's U.S. Senators are Daniel K. Inouye (D) and Daniel K. Akaka (D).

Be sure to turn around and see the State Capitol Building, as well as the nearby Iolani Palace and the Hawai'i State Art Museum.

All Lost filming locations downtown are all within walking distance, with the YWCA, Cafe Lanikea, Ali'iolani Hale, Post Office, Pauahi Tower, and the intersection of Hotel and Bishop closest by. Towards the north are the Pacific Club and The Royal School.

Lost Virtual Tour

The Sydney skyline and waterfront were compositied into the image, with most of the Honolulu skyline removed except for the Alakea Corporate Tower (horizontal stripes and triangular rooftop) at the corner of 1100 Alakea and Hotel Streets, and the building to its right.
