Pier 38

The piers on O'ahu are numbered from Diamondhead (east) to Ewa (west). The structures at the Nimitz Hwy entrance to Pier 35 through Pier 38 are visible in Lost. At right is the view from Nimitz Hwy traveling from the airport to Waikiki.

Notes

The area is currently being developed into a "fisherman's village" concept. There is still construction ongoing, but while you're here, drop by for a surprisingly good lunch at the Nico's at Pier 38 restaurant, a secret locale for seafood most tourists don't know about.

Hurley hurries harriedly to the Sydney Airport

Here the screencap has been reversed to show the true perspective with Hurley driving a US left-steer automobile.

The photo reveals that Hurley's scene was filmed driving along the Ewa (west) side of the building on the road perpendicular to Nimitz Hwy.

The Diamondhead (east) face of the building does not have palm trees, as in the screencap.

Facing the exit of the Pier 38 area, the Old Xerox Building is visible across Nimitz Hwy.
